Fix You-EBC

"Momma, when's daddy coming home?" Hades asked. He and his brother Mercury had been waiting outside for their father to return from the coliseum for what seemed like hours. Eventually, Mercury fell asleep beside his twin, the rest of the cubs inside the owner's home. But Hades stayed awake, eager to greet his father as soon as he returned home in his armor, shining from the victory of yet another battle. Hades wanted to be just like his father one day, undefeated in the arena for almost five years.
The young cub's mother came outside, clearly wanting to greet their father as well. But she didn't seem very enthusiastic at all, which had Hades worried. "Momma?" he asked again, pressing his brows together.
"Go to sleep Hades." she answered sternly, her amber eyes glistening, identical to his own. "Your father's not coming home."

So much for happy Father's Day....Anyways, here's a little peek into Hades' past, and what happened to his father. He actually has four brothers and sisters, but he's closest with Mercury since they're twins. His father was lost in a battle in the coliseum, and he was a very prized fighter, too. Well, I'm not sure how much EP this will be worth, since I drew other characters, but they don't belong to EBC...oh well, cross that bridge when we get there! The above quote is the part of the song that this scene is based off of. It's a pretty sad song, but I like it.
