Personality Mephesto is quite the grumpy cat, and is extremely stubborn and arrogant. He jumps at any chance he can get to argue with anyone--even higher-ups--and won't back down until his opponent admits that they were incorrect. He doesn't make friends easy, which means he's often on his own if he's not with the Overseer or Enchantress. Though he's quite intelligent, his people skills often fail him if he's on official business in Eden or even in Haris, making him easily unlikable and not to be taken seriously.

Backstory Meph was born in some faraway land, seas away from Eden and Haris, into a family of fairly wealthy cats who got by with life fine. His father was a world class thief, and his mother was practicing in herbal medicine treatment. However, while his mother was pregnant with her last kit, some complications arose, killing both her and the newborn kit (Robin). After losing his mother and having his father constantly be gone of "business", Mephesto decided to leave his wealthy home and travel the world on his parents' money, searching for a new place to call home. After years of looking, he finally found the lands of Haris and Eden, and after the Overseer tested him and his ability to sneak, (a skill he picked up from his father) he was appointed to Silarian and given a residence nearly as nice as his former home. He's filled the rank ever since.

Other To hide his true identity as Silarian to those outside of the high-class ranks, he goes by Vinter (his father's name) and poses as a Merchant when he's not on business, though he wears the same clothing either way. Also, when he gets extremely irritated he often speaks to himself in Old English, which is his native language. He speaks with a rough English/Scottish accent, and slips Old English words in to his vocabulary from time to time.

Role-play Example
Mephistophilis crouched low in the brush near the gateway of Haris, letting the fur on the lower part of his belt barely brush the cool ground. Being spotted on the way into Haris would surely lead to disaster, especially so soon after the war. Besides, he was too clever to be caught by the weak-minded dunces that spent their entire lives standing in front of a gate. The Russian Blue let out a puff of warm air before switching his gaze around, looking for a way to sneak through the gate to go unnoticed by the guards. Farther along the gate, he could see a small crack in which he could slip through, hopefully without raising any attention toward himself.
He silently made his way over to the small entrance, squeezing his rather large body through the hole before reemerging on the other side. Immediately he was met with the smell of carrion and disease, and wanted to retch up the contents of his stomach. What a disgusting way to live. If it were not my duty to be here, I cans't imagine being caught dead in this hell, he thought, wrinkling up his black nose. He continued on his way however, making a beeline straight for the heart of Haris on his duty.
